New Sherwood Pool & Tennis is home to our New Sherwood Stingrays Swim Team, which annual participation of 200+ swimmers, ranging in age from four to eighteen! We are a competitive summer league team in the Greater Forsyth Swim League which includes the following pools: Bermuda Run, Brookberry Farm, Brookwood, Chadwyck, Clemmons West, Forsyth Country Club, Glenridge, Grandview, Greenbrier, Jonestown, New Sherwood, Oak Valley, Old Town Club, Peace Haven, Salem Glen, Shallowford Lakes, Sherwood, Town & Country, Waterford, Westwood, and Willow Run.Our seven week season opens with pup camp and official practices on Monday, May 11, and closes with our league final championships on Sunday, July 12. Our meet schedule includes six regular season meets, three home and three away, and the championship finals which is held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. We also participate in the TYDE hosted Robin Jacobs City Meet each June at Bolton Pool.
