Time Trials info, Merch Orders In, Practice schedule change

Happy Weekend!  Tomorrow, Saturday morning, is our time trials.  Plan to arrive at 8:00am and the events will start at 8:30!  Please mark your swimmers with sharpies before arrival to avoid some of the chaos.  THIS Swim Team 101 link is extremely helpful in managing expectations, as well as how to read a heat sheet, and how to appropriately mark up your swimmer.  When you arrive in the morning, please have your child check in with a coach and find their appropriate section in the Stingray Zone, which will be located on the basketball court.  I will send out a heat sheet when Coach Emma finalizes the events, sometime in the early afternoon.

Even if you are not swimming, come hang out at the pancake breakfast and have your swimmer cheer on their little buddies who are swimming.  This would be a great time for them to make introductions and help ease their buddies' nerves.

Merchandise Pick-up

The bulk order merchandise has arrived (except for the hats and personalized caps which should be another week) and will be available for pickup on Saturday morning.  Come see Nikki Bonifas, who will also have your team caps and shirts available to pick up if you have not yet done so.  We will also have some merchandise for sale and some older stuff that may just be given away!

Practice Schedule Change

For NEXT WEEK ONLY, the afternoon practice times will change to accommodate the size of our team a little better until public school gets out.  For Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (we have a meet Tuesday), the afternoon schedule is as follows:  6u : 5:00-5:30, 7-8s: 5:30-6:00, 9-10s:  6:00-6:30, 11 & up: 6:30-7:15.  Morning practice times will remain the same.

Looking Ahead

Next week is our first league meet at Brookberry on Tuesday evening.  Please declare your availability by Sunday, June 2nd at 6PM to allow time for our coaches to create the meet.  If you have any changes that need to be made after that time, please text Jeremy at 336-416-2496.

Thanks again for everyone's cooperation in making this crazy thing run smoothly.  We truly appreciate all of our Swim Family!

Go Stingrays!
