Tomorrow we swim our neighborhood rivals at Peace Haven! 

The New Sherwood - Peace Haven rivalry is decades old and we ALWAYS love the chance to catch up with friends, classmates and neighbors. We will continue our NS/PH tradition of post meet Pizza & Movie - so plan ahead to stay even if only for a little while!

• 4:30 PM - Arrive and set up
• 5 PM - New Sherwood Warmup
• 5:10/15 PM - Timers/Officials Meeting
• 5:30 PM - Meet Start

ARRIVAL - Peace Haven pool address is 420 Hearthside Drive. We will be set-up along the baby pool side. We also have space inside the baby pool area, but swimming in this pool is not allowed by swimmers. This area will be ready at 4:30pm. There is deck seating available, however, you may want to bring chairs as theirs are limited. IF POSSIBLE, PLAN TO ARRIVE WITH EHL body markings already completed to save time and headaches on deck.  SZ volunteers should arrive at 4:30 PM. Timers, officials and data entry should arrive by 5 PM. 

PARKING - There are limited spots in the parking lot. You are welcome to drop off your swimmers near the tennis courts off once the lot is full, but will then need to park on the street. PLEASE park on the POOL SIDE of the road only. No cars are allowed to park on the opposite side of the pool. Thank you!

CONCESSIONS - Chick-fil-A sandwiches for $5, chips, drinks, candy and snacks are available at PH Snack Shack during the meet. Unfortunately, they are only able to take cash from non-members. Kona Ice will be available near the tennis courts.

ORDER OF EVENTS - We will follow the same order of events that we have for all of our dual meets with 6U backstroke following the 15-18 50 Freestyle event.

STINGRAY ZONE & CLERK OF COURSE - Stingray Zone will be set up around the baby pool area and towards the far corner adjacent to the playground with our Clerk of Course benches just outside the baby pool.

HEAT SHEET & ENTRY LIST - Once the meet is merged, heat sheets will be available on our website and on the SwimTopia app. Notification will be sent once it is posted. If you want a hard copy, plan to print one before you leave home. Remember the A-Z Entry List is the easiest way to reference your swimmer's EHL for body marking purposes.

RESTROOMS - men’s and women’s restrooms are located on the shallow end of the pool, as well as in the back shelter.

PLAYGROUND - The playground is unsupervised. While it is fine that we enjoy it, please be sure your children are supervised. 10 & U swimmers should be in the Stingray Zone, not on the playground, until after they have finished their events.

PIZZA & MOVIE POST MEET - Peace Haven has invited us to stay and have pizza and watch a movie after the meet. They will have a pizza money collector, Jill Johnson. You can bring cash or pay via Venmo. Charge is $5 per person and $20 per family. The Venmo is @ccjjohnson. The last 4 digits of her cell are 4690 and please make sure to include your LAST NAME and # of individuals in your party in the comments so she knows which family is placing the order and approx how many people to expect. Slight change of movie selection - it will be a Disney throwback (think Cars, Despicable Me...). Please plan to stay!
