Attached is our 2022 "Buddy List."  This Stingray tradition pairs swimmers 10 and older with one or two swimmers 9 and younger.  New swimmers 10 and older have been also buddied with an older veteran.  Buddies should seek each other out this week to meet. Time Trials on Saturday is an excellent time for Big Buddies to meet and cheer on their little buddies.

The Big Buddy role includes support and encouragement - especially to those that are new to the swim team.  We LOVE when you assist little buddies with E/H/L body markings in the Stingray Zone before meets (their parents do too!), give them a high five before their event, or stand at the end of their lane and cheer for them at the end of a race.  Little buddies love treats - a Sunset Slushie at the meet, an ice pop after practice, or even a little goodie bag.  

Little buddies should ask around to find their big buddy.  Get to know your big buddy, some of these BIG buddies were little buddies just last year, some may have done Pup Camp themselves 5 or 6 years ago and some have been on our team since they were 4, 5 or 6 years old. 

The attached list has the same buddy list twice for ease of reference - the first 3 pages are alphabetized by LITTLE buddy last name, the last 3 pages are alphabetized by BIG buddies last name.  Big buddies, please note, that many of you have more than one little buddy!
